NRA Basic Handgun Class safety class

Looking to get your concealed carry permit?  Or maybe you are interested in learning more about handguns and how to use them?   Then this is the place for you!

We will provide you with information on:

• safety classes
• educational service
• how to determine which is your dominant eye
• how to shoot with either hand
• how to use the sights on your firearm
• which stance is correct for you and the situation you are in
• how ammunition works in your firearm
• different types of ammunition 
• different types of handguns and the benefits of each

I will provide you with:

• NRA's student guide on Basic Pistol 
• NRA 3 gun safety rules card
• NRA Marksmanship Program Manual
• Invaluable information that could save your life

This class will be taught on the Peninsula in Virginia.  There is an open-book quiz required by the NRA in order to receive your completion certificate. We will cover this in class.  

Range date will be scheduled one-on-one with the instructor the day of the class.  This gives you time to digest all that we will discuss in class before implementing it on the range.  A refresher of the basics will be given on range day.  This certificate can be used to apply for a concealed carry permit in the State of Virginia. Certificates cannot be issued until both the classroom and range portion have been passed and completed.

The cost of this class is $175.00.  If you are law enforcement or military, discounts are available.
